Weddings go so perfect when the couple decide to hire a wedding planner or coordinator. They just keep everything going smooth, when there are inevitably things that have to change due to unforeseen circumstances. That certainly was the case last Saturday at Jessie and Keith’s wedding. I received an email from mother of the bride several months prior, after she was referred to me from wedding planner extraordinaire Trinity Reed at Occasional Celebrations in Savannah. If you are looking for a planner that is on top of things and organized with precision and can work a timeline like no one I have ever seen…then Trinity is your girl! I might add…all with a pleasant smile and charismatic personality.
The ceremony and reception were both held at Bryson Hall in Savannah. The plan was to have first look pictures in Chippewa Square, which is in front of the venue. Except mother nature tried to thwart our plans. All week the forecast was calling for 100% rain on Saturday. I left Tybee around noon so that I would arrive in plenty of time to get pictures of Jessie getting ready. Nearly a monsoon had hit during my drive. It was one of the most white knuckle drives I have ever driven. Once I arrived the rain had subsided and after Jessie was ready, the sun came out and we headed to the square for first look pictures, just as planned.
Bryson Hall is a wonderful venue, as the brides quarters are perfect for the girls getting ready, equipped with dress hooks on the walls and well lit make up mirrors along with plenty of space so spread out all the wedding stuff that brides and bridesmaids need. The black wrought iron railing to the catwalk and staircase makes an grand entrance for the bride to the wedding isle. After the ceremony, the room is quickly flipped in to the cocktail hour and reception hall. I highly recommend Bryson Hall for brides wanting to get married in Savannah and have the least amount of travel and run around for their guests. Sarah is the venue coordinator and was so accommodating to everyones needs.
Jessie and Keith were a fantastic couple to work with, excited about their big day and so in love! And their parents…just too much fun! It thrills me to no end to have the job I have and get to work with such wonderful people from my clients and their families and all of my vendor associates that make the magical day come together.
