I have exciting news to share! I had entered a contest in January with South Magazine. It was for the title to be named “South’s Greatest Photographer” I called on my family, friends, fans and clients to vote for me and I got great response from all of you. The voting was not the final decision, and as far as the vote counts showed, I was in third place. There was no further contact as to who were the final winners until the April/May issue was to be published. I was thrilled when I opened the issue to find that I had won in the Professional Category. THANK YOU THANK YOU!! for all your votes and THANK YOU South Magazine for the opportunity to be named “South’s Greatest Photographer” I am honored. The image that was published was of a sweet little newborn, Taya, in her daddy’s hands. I created this image about 7  years ago in my Virginia studio.  It has always been one of my favorite images that I have taken. And now it holds an even more special place in my portfolio.
